What are press-on nails?
Press-on nails are custom-made nails that are applied directly to your natural nails using adhesive tabs or nail glue. They offer a salon-quality manicure at home without the time and expense of a salon visit.
How do I apply press-on nails?
Simply clean and prep your natural nails, choose the correct size for each nail, apply adhesive tabs or nail glue, and press firmly for 10-15 seconds. Each set includes detailed instructions on how to apply.
How long do press-on nails last?
Depending on how you apply them and your lifestyle, Daisies.Press press-on nails can last anywhere from 1-3 weeks. For a temporary look, use adhesive tabs; for longer wear, use nail glue.
Tip: to ensure long wear, apply the adhesive tab first, put glue on the press-on nail, and press firmly for 10-15 seconds.
Are press-on nails reusable?
Yes! Many of my press-on nails are reusable when applied with adhesive tabs. To reuse, carefully remove the nails, clean off any adhesive, and store them safely for when you want to look extra chic.
Do you offer custom designs?
Yes! I do offer custom designs. You can provide me with your request (a photo etc.), and I’ll create the design for you. Please note that custom orders may have a longer processing time and additional charges.
How do I find my correct nail size?
I recommend purchasing a sizing kit, which includes sample nails in the size and shape of your choice. Alternatively, you can refer to my Sizing Guide for measuring at home. Proper sizing ensures the best fit and durability.
Can I wear press-on nails if I have short or damaged nails?
Definitely! Press-on nails can be worn on short or damaged nails (till a certain extend). They can help protect your natural nails while they grow out. Just ensure your nails are clean and properly prepped before application.
What should I do if my nails pop off?
If a nail pops off, simply reapply it with nail glue after wiping it clean with an alcohol pad. Always carry a small tube of glue with you for quick fixes, especially if you’re wearing your nails for an extended period or special occasion.
How do I remove press-on nails safely?
To remove, soak your nails in warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes or use a nail remover solution. Gently lift the edges and slide the nails off. Avoid forcing them off to prevent damage to your natural nails.
Note: soaking your nails in acetone or any harsh nail remover will damage the press-on nails.
How do I care for my press-on nails?
Avoid exposing your nails to excessive water, oils, or harsh chemicals. Wearing gloves when doing chores and avoiding activities that may put pressure on your nails will help prolong their life.
Remember, nails aren’t tools!
